SHAH ALAM, 28 November 2024 - Reruai Yayasan Basmi Kemiskinan (YBK) di Pesta Buku Antarabangsa Selangor 2024 (Selangor International Book Fair) telah menerima kunjungan daripada YBhg. Dato' Haji Zainal Abidin Sakom, Pengerusi YBK.

Beliau hadir untuk meninjau operasi reruai dan memberi sokongan kepada karyawan YBK yang bertugas, di samping mengambil peluang beramah mesra, melawat reruai dan membeli beberapa naskhah buku. Turut hadir Ahli Lembaga Pemegang Amanah YBK, Encik Zulhairy Jalaluddin dan Encik Zainal Mohd Jais bersama pasangan.

Semasa Dato' Pengerusi melawat reruai KDEB Waste Management yang terletak berhadapan reruai YBK, beliau telah menerima penerangan berkenaan latar belakang dan program CSR yang dijalankan, dan sangat terbuka dengan cadangan untuk berkolaborasi bersama YBK dalam kempen kesedaran kepada komuniti khususnya pelajar sekolah.

Orang ramai dijemput melawat reruai YBK di nombor N64 sepanjang tempoh pesta berlangsung untuk mendapatkan informasi berkenaan program-program YBK dan menyertai aktiviti-aktiviti yang disediakan. Pengunjung juga berpeluang untuk memenangi hadiah penginapan di homestay Villa Ybk bernilai RM 1,200 melalui pertandingan swafoto kreatif di reruai YBK.

CHAIRMAN AND BOARD MEMBERS VISIT YBK'S BOOTH AT SELANGOR INTERNATIONAL BOOK FAIR 2024

SHAH ALAM, 28 November 2024 - The Yayasan Basmi Kemiskinan Booth (YBK) at the Selangor International Book Fair 2024 has received a visit from YBhg. Dato' Haji Zainal Abidin Sakom, Chairman of YBK.

He was present to inspect the booth operations and provide support to YBK employees on duty, in addition to taking the opportunity to socialize, visit the booth and buy several copies of books. Also present were YBK Board of Trustees Members, Encik Zulhairy Jalaluddin and Encik Zainal Mohd Jais with their spouses.

During Dato' Chairman's visit to the KDEB Waste Management booth, he received an explanation on the background and CSR programmes carried out, and was very open to the proposal to collaborate with YBK in the awareness campaign to the community, especially school students.

The public is invited to visit YBK's booth at N64 during the festival period to obtain information about YBK's programmes and participate in the activities provided. Visitors will also have the opportunity to win a prize for a stay at Villa Ybk homestay worth RM 1,200 through a creative selfie contest at the YBK booth.
