KELANA JAYA, 14 Februari 2024 - Yayasan Basmi Kemiskinan (YBK) pagi ini telah mendengar pembentangan daripada International Development and Research Institute in Sustainability (IDRIS) dan Benevolent Malaysia berkenaan Projek Gerbang Maya Masjid 360.

Pembentangan telah disampaikan oleh Datuk Nizam Mahshar selaku Pengerusi IDRIS dan Projek Masjid 360. Turut hadir, Encik Muhamad Hanapi Jamaludin (President Benevolent Malaysia merangkap Pengarah Projek Masjid 360).

Hadir mendengar pembentangan adalah YBhg. Dato' Haji Zainal Abidin Sakom (Pengerusi YBK), YBhg. Datin Dr. Hajah Hartini Osman (Penasihat Pentadbiran YBK), Encik Muhammad Sherhan Nizam Abdul Aziz (Pengurus Besar YBK), dan Pengurus Jabatan Pendidikan serta Pengurus Media dan Perhubungan Awam.

Difahamkan projek ini adalah bagi membangunkan gerbang maya (portal) di internet yang menempatkan maklumat masjid-masjid terpilih, dan juga memiliki fungsi realiti maya (virtual reality) yang membolehkan lawatan ke masjid-masjid terpilih secara maya. YBK telah dijemput untuk bekerjasama dalam projek ini.

PRESENTATION OF 'MASJID 360' PORTAL PROJECT

KELANA JAYA, 14 February 2024 - Yayasan Basmi Kemiskinan (YBK) this morning heard a presentation from the International Development and Research Institute in Sustainability (IDRIS) and Benevolent Malaysia on the Masjid 360 Virtual Portal Project.

The presentation was presented by Datuk Nizam Mahshar as Chairman of IDRIS and Masjid 360 Project. Also present, Encik Muhamad Hanapi Jamaludin (President Benevolent Malaysia cum Project Director for Masjid 360).

Present at the presentation was YBhg. Dato' Haji Zainal Abidin Sakom (Chairman of YBK), YBhg. Datin Dr Hajah Hartini Osman (YBK's Administration Adviser), Encik Muhammad Sherhan Nizam Abdul Aziz (General Manager of YBK), and Education Department Manager and Media and Public Relations Department Manager.

It is understood that this project is to develop a virtual gateway (portal) on the internet that houses the information of selected mosques, as well as having a virtual reality function that allows visits to selected mosques virtually. YBK was invited to collaborate on this project.
