BANDARAYA MELAKA, 19 & 20 November 2024 - Pengurusan tertinggi Yayasan Basmi Kemiskinan (YBK) telah 'berkampung' selama dua hari di Tun Fatimah Riverside Hotel Melaka menghadiri Bengkel Pelan Strategik YBK 2025-2030.

Sesi bengkel yang dipandu oleh Prof. Madya Dr. Mohd Mursyid Arshad (Pengarah Pusat Kokurikulum Dan Pembangunan Pelajar Universiti Putra Malaysia merangkap ALPA YBK) bertujuan merangka pelan strategik YBK bagi tempoh 2025-2030 di peringkat Jabatan dan Outlet. Semua ketua jabatan dan outlet hadir dalam sesi bengkel ini.

Hari pertama bengkel (19 November), Pengerusi YBK, YBhg. Dato' Haji Zainal Abidin Sakom dalam ucapannya bertajuk "Aspirasi IBUMU Pemangkin Kelestarian YBK" telah menggariskan aspirasi beliau serta kerangka dasar hala tuju YBK berdasarkan nilai IBUMU iaitu Ilmu, Budaya dan Mutu. Pengurus Besar YBK, Encik Muhammad Sherhan Nizam Abdul Aziz dalam mengulas ucapan Pengerusi YBK, menyambut baik aspirasi dan dasar yang digariskan dan menyeru ketua jabatan dan outlet melaksanakan sehabis baik membentuk pelan strategik sepanjang berada di sini.

Setiap Jabatan dan Outlet dalam proses merangka pelan strategik telah melaksanakan analisis SWOT, TOWS dan menulis draf 'Impact Mapping' mengikut panduan yang disediakan oleh Dr. Mursyid. Pada hari ke-2, sesi 'World Cafe' telah dilaksanakan di mana setiap jabatan/outlet diberi peluang untuk memberi saranan kepada jabatan/outlet yang lain secara bergilir.

Penasihat-penasihat jabatan merangkap ALPA YBK telah bersama Jabatan masing-masing memberikan panduan dan buah fikiran bagi menghasilkan dapatan yang mantap.

Dr. Mursyid selaku ketua projek dalam ulasan rumusan beliau memaklumkan sesi dua hari ini telah berjaya menghasilkan 15 teras utama, 24 objektif strategik, 50 strategi dan 68 sasaran KPI. Semua dapatan ini akan melalui proses pemurnian lanjutan dan diperhalusi sebelum diangkat kepada Ahli Lembaga untuk kelulusan.

YBK STRATEGIC PLAN WORKSHOP 2025-2030

BANDARAYA MELAKA, 19 & 20 November 2024 - The top management of Yayasan Basmi Kemiskinan (YBK) has gathered for two days at Tun Fatimah Riverside Hotel Melaka to attend the YBK Strategic Plan Workshop 2025-2030.

The workshop session was guided by Assoc. Prof. Dr. MOHD MURSYID ARSHAD (Director of the Centre for Co-Curriculum and Student Development Universiti Putra Malaysia and YBK Board of Trustee) aimed to formulate YBK's strategic plan for the period 2025-2030 at the Department and Outlet levels. All heads of departments and outlets attended this workshop session.

On the first day of the workshop (19 November), the Chairman of YBK, YBhg. Dato' Haji Zainal Abidin Sakom in his speech entitled "IBUMU's Aspirations Catalyst for Sustainability" outlined his aspirations as well as the policy framework of YBK's direction based on IBUMU's values of Knowledge, Culture and Quality. YBK General Manager, Encik Muhammad Sherhan Nizam Abdul Aziz in commenting on the speech of the Chairman of YBK, welcomed the aspirations and policies outlined and called on the heads of departments and outlets to implement as well as possible to form a strategic plan during their time here.

Each Department and Outlet in the process of formulating a strategic plan has carried out SWOT analysis, TOWS and written a draft 'Impact Map' according to the guidance provided by Dr. Mursyid. On the 2nd day, the 'World Cafe' session was held where each department/outlet was given the opportunity to give recommendations to other departments/outlets in turn.

The department's advisors ALPA YBK have worked with their respective departments to provide guidance and thoughts to produce solid findings.

Dr. Mursyid as the project leader in his summary comment informed that the two-day session had succeeded in producing 15 main cores, 24 strategic objectives, 50 strategies and 68 KPI targets. All of these findings will go through an advanced refining process and refine before being submitted to the Board for approval.
